Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie

Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie

2 cups dark leafy greens of your choice

1 cup almond milk

¼ cup water

¼ cup hazelnuts

1 ½ ripe bananas, peeled

1 ½ cups frozen, pitted cherries

1 tsp cinnamon

2 TBSP cocoa or cacao powder

  1. Blend greens (2 cups), milk (1 cup), and water (¼ cup) until well blended
  2. Add the bananas (1 ½), cherries (1 ½ cup), nuts (¼ cup), cinnamon (1 tsp) and cocoa powder (2 TBSP) and blend to desired texture.
  3. If using protein powder or seed mix, add at the very end and blend for a few seconds.
