Wellbeats Instructor Spotlight: Meet Nicole!

Wellbeats is thrilled to welcome Nicole Lovald to our team of highly certified and relatable instructors!

“I have been teaching yoga for more than eight years and I teach a variety of modalities, including hatha, vinyasa, restorative, yin, and mindfulness meditation,” says Nicole. “I love meeting people where they are on their self-care and wellness journey and holding space for people to connect with themselves in a meaningful and healthful way.”

Nicole wasn’t always in this space herself. “Years ago, while working in the corporate environment, I was suffering from chronic stress,” she explains. “I found that yoga was incredibly helpful for calming my mind. After learning how much better I felt using yoga as a self-care practice, I was inspired to help others feel the same way.”

So much so that Nicole dove into yoga education and practice. “I am a certified yoga teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance. I’m also certified with YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider).” Nicole has additional certifications in yin and restorative yoga, mindfulness, and trauma-informed yoga, is a board-certified life coach, and a practicing psychotherapist.

Nicole lives her life and coaches others in balance and the 80/20 rule. “I strive to eat healthy and have healthy lifestyle practices 80 percent of the time. I know I will feel calmer, more connected, have more energy and simply feel better overall.” A personal mantra she lives by is, “I am perfect, whole, and complete, just as I am.”

Classes that Nicole will be sharing with the Wellbeats community will include meditative yoga and short meditations to help with stress reduction and management. “I know how challenging it can be to fit these practices into our busy lives,” she says. “My hope is that people will be able to access these offerings throughout their day, to assist with overall improved health.”

O: Observe what you notice in your body and mind.

P: Proceed on with your day, with more awareness, patience, and ease.
