Jen Zygmunt, senior vice president of sales and marketing for St. Louis Park-based Wellbeats, a national leader in virtual, on-demand fitness for individuals and workplace well-being programs, has been named Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s 2019 Women in Business honoree.
The Women in Business Award recognizes 50 women for professional success, leadership, and community contributions. Since 2015, Zygmunt has helped guide Wellbeats’ evolution to becoming a software-as-a-service company and its entrance into the corporate wellness market.
“Jen has an uncanny ability to spot trends and opportunities that drive engagement, and she has the skills to build and motivate a team capable of capitalizing on those trends,” said Jason Von Bank, president and CEO, Wellbeats. “Jen inspires everyone around her to succeed beyond their expectations, and her leadership has had a tremendous impact on our success as a company.”
In addition to her work at Wellbeats, Zygmunt serves on the board of directors for HopeKids and is a member of the Women to Know network and the Women’s Health Leadership Trust.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized among this diverse group of accomplished women,” said Zygmunt. “I am continually proud of our team for their passion and commitment to make fitness fit and to engage consumers in their well-being. It’s exciting to see those efforts pay off in success for Wellbeats and our users.”
Zygmunt and the other Women in Business honorees will be recognized at a May 23 luncheon and in a May 24 Women in Business publication.
Congratulations Jen on being named 2019 Women in Business Honoree!
